The Bronx Puerto Rican Parade 2010
It took place May 16th starting at 176th Street and Grand Concourse and
ending at 161st street and the Grand Concourse. The Bronx Puerto Rican Day
Parade of 2010 came at the right time, for that week was dedicated to the
borough. The New York Yankees were in town and the weather was
just right for a parade! The Concourse is similar to Fifth Avenue in
Manhattan when comes to Latino Parades. Eventually here people could see
from their fire escapes, bodegas (grocery store in English), the streets;
the people are as much a part of the parade as the participants.
