May Day 2015... Friday, May 1. New York City's annual parade for worker and immigrant rights, with an extra focus this year on fair and just treatment of all people by the police, and a living wage for all workers. A President of the United States once said, “No business which depends for existence on paying less than living wages to its workers has any right to continue in this country.“ The parade started at Union Square and made its way to Foley Square and finally to the Lower East Side.
